After the first UFC just done in Abu Dhabi last weekend, the focus in the United Arab Emirates now is in the BJJ.
The II World Cup BJJ Pro starts tomorrow, and promises a lot of action in the ground when athletes from all over the World fight for petrodollars. Total purse is over 150 Thousand American Dollars, and the champion of the open division takes himself 12 thousand, with subsequent prizes for second and third in all divisions.
We wish good luck to all there and in special to the African Team, represented by the athletes qualified in the TrialsWiekus Swart (Rio Grappling Club/Tap Out Joburg), Wesley Charles George (Renzo Gracie CT), Derrick Van Kersen (Carlson Gracie Africa), Jared Halliday (Renzo Gracie CT) and Jessica Hill (Rio Grappling Club/Quantum Tribe), reinforced by Brett Evans (Rio Grappling Club/Quantum Tribe) that financed himself the trip to test against the best.
