My friend and student Pedro Soriano just sent me pictures of his new gym.
Pedro is a brown belt in BJJ and black belt in Judo. Born in Rio de Janeiro, he now lives and teaches in San Pedro, Southern California. He started BJJ when I was teaching at his neibourghood, Laranjeiras, in 1995. He was already a black belt in Judo by then and we always trained extensively together. He represents the Rio Grappling Club in California, and his gym is very close to Long Beach, where the next World Championship will take place.
